DESCRIPTION OF MAP STYLES
3E - I designed this map in a vintage style with current geographical data. I gave it a 19th century feel. The map includes city name done in an antique font and a Coat of Arms, street grid as well as points of interest labels. The green and natural areas, water and commercial zones are color shaded to give the map more contrast.
3G - I based this map on the age of discovery maps I have seen. Each country is colored and the border area is darkened. The cities and towns are marked with medieval icons and labels are written with antique fonts. Coast lines are shaded for deeper contrast and the country name is surrounded by antique border. The map contains variety of nautical compass roses which serve as center points for web of grid lines.
